Parenting is an adventure that no one could have truly prepared us for. We began our parenting journey with the parenting patterns we learned from our own parents, some of them productive, some of them not. Then we received conflicting advice from all directions along the way. Using the tools we have, we do our best and hope that our children will turn out okay. What a relief it is to know that you are not alone and that good parents seek outside help when they recognize a need for it.
